Your dream of an African Safari becomes a reality this morning after you leave Arusha to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch. Tarangire is the third largest national park in Tanzania. This delightful park, covering an area of 2,600 sq. km was established in 1970, and it is the numerous baobab trees that will initially catch your eye. The Tarangire National Park derives its name from the Tarangire River that rises in the highlands of central Tanzania and winds its way through the game sanctuary. The river irresistibly lures the herds of plains migrants from the parched surrounding area to its shrunken – but permanent – brackish waters during the dry season.
The animals come by thousands from as far north as the shores of Lake Matron, dramatically swelling the resident population with wildebeest, zebra, and eland, elephant, hartebeest, buffalo and fringe-eared Oryx. Tarangire is said to have the highest recorded number of breeding bird species for any habitat in the world. As the rainless days continue the Tarangire pools are clotted with thirsty migrants, and elephants begin to dig for underground streams in the dry riverbed.
Meal plan : Dinner, Lunch and Breakfast.
Accommodation : Bougainvillea Lodge
After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa - the Serengeti National Park - with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see.
We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti's species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park, after our lunch then later at the evening we will go for dinner and overnight.
Meal plan : Dinner, Lunch and Breakfast.
Accommodation : Kati Kati Tented camp
After breakfast at the campsite, depart for the renowned Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch. Enjoy game viewing in the park. Serengeti National Park covering 10,000 square miles is Tanzania's largest and most famous national park. As the southern part of a vast expanse of plains land shared with Kenya (where it is known as the Masai Mara), the Serengeti supports one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in the world. It is home to dozens of species including antelope, hyena, leopard, giraffe, lion, buffalo and cheetah; but, at certain times of year, the main attraction is the vast numbers of herd animals – primarily zebra and wildebeest – on the move across the plain in a massive migration in search of fresh grass and water. The sight of so many animals, from the air or on the ground, is spectacular. A game drive this afternoon will introduce you to this park, famous throughout the world.
Meal plan : Dinner, Lunch and Breakfast.
Accommodation : Kati Kati Tented camp
Depart in the morning from the camp with picnic lunch, drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area for crater tour. it’s time to drive to the scenic Ngorongoro Crater enjoying wildlife viewing along the way, on arrival descends into the crater for a full day of game viewing. A picnic lunch will be taken on the crater floor. The crater supports up to 25,000 large mammals. Grazers dominate: zebra, wildebeest – accounting for almost half the animals – gazelle, buffalo, eland, hartebeest and wart hog. Giraffe, for example, stay away because there is insufficient food at tree level; top because they compete directly with wildebeest.
An odd feature of the crater elephants is that they are almost exclusively bulls. Breeding herds – comprising large numbers of females and young with a few attendant older males – are probably unable to find sufficient quality food in the crater. Ngorongoro has carnivores in quantity, drawn by the large herds of prey animals. It has the densest population of large predators, mainly lion – about 100 – and more than 400 spotted hyenas, living in eight clans of up to eighty individuals. Both lions and hyenas will scavenge from each other, depending on weight of numbers and of course, hunger.

After breakfast you will drive to Lake Eyasi to the Bush man where you will experience culture of bush man which is DATOGA AND HADZABE. These are the kind of people who live their whole life in the bush and are known as a unique tribe in due to their culture and life style in the bush. You will have time to learn their culture like hunting, gathering fruits, medicine, and more about them.
The Hadzabe people, or Hadzabe'e, are an ethnic group in central Tanzania, living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley and in the neighboring Serengeti Plateau. The Hadzabe people number is just under 1000. Some 300–400 Hadzabe live as hunter-gatherers, much as they have for thousands or even tens of thousands of years; they are the last functioning hunter-gatherers in Africa. The Hadzabe are not closely related to any other people. While traditionally considered an East African branch of the Khoisan peoples, primarily because their language has clicks, modern genetic research suggests that they may be more closely related to the Pygmies. The Hadzabe language appears to be an isolate, unrelated to any other.
