About Lifetime Safaris
Tanzania Is A Safari Destination...

Our adventure-filled camping safari guarantees an immersive experience in the heart of the African wilderness. Traversing through bumpy roads, with sights of small rural hamlets abounding the breathtaking landscape teeming with wildlife will drive in the feeling of adventure in your safari.
Waking up to the aroma of a hot coffee to the thrills of a kill to the quivering chills of the safari game drives; including having your conversations disrupted by the hoot an owl or a roaring lion acting as the morning alarm, is just the activation your senses would enjoy. An adventure without camping in the middle of wildlife habitats would be bereft of the natural sensation that makes the experience real.
And our camping safaris tell a gripping tale of nature’s bounties and thriving cultures away from contemporary civilizational mores in the most natural setting and in a productive way.
After picking you up in the morning, we will give you a short brief of the safari before heading southwest to the sixth largest park in Tanzania, the Tarangire National Park. The semi-arid yet diverse landscape of the park is marked by acacia woodlands, giant baobab trees, and grass. The highlights include large herds of elephants and other animals gathering around the perennial Tarangire river and other swamps in the dry season for a fiery showdown between predator and prey. The park is renowned for its dense wildlife which includes predators like lions, leopards and hyenas, and the rare and endangered wild dogs besides swarms of yellow-breasted lovebirds to kudus, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, and impalas. After a captivating view of the wildlife, you will move out of the park and travel to a nearby campsite, to spend the night in tents.
We’ll take an early breakfast, as we’ve got a big day of exploration and adventure ahead of us!
The day starts off with a scenic drive to the iconic Serengeti, exploring the vivid rainforests of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area along the way with some lucky spotting cape buffalo, baboons, or even elephants and leopards in the lush undergrowth.
It’s almost a four-hour drive to the gates of Serengeti National Park with the option of breaking the journey with one or both of the following activities:
Oldupai Gorge Museum: Know more about the evolution of humans by taking a visit to the Oldupai Gorge Museum. Renowned as the Cradle of Mankind, the stark but stunning prehistoric site of the gorge country is famed for ancient human and elephant fossils, tools excavations.
Maasai boma visit: Take a trip to the famous Maasai bomas, and visit an authentic Maasai village to witness the traditional lives far from the trappings of modernity. Participate in their traditional Maasai dance and do a little souvenir shopping at the local market for an interactive experience.
Both of the above activities attract an additional cost. Speak with your safari expert about adding them to your itinerary.
After a delicious lunch at the Serengeti National Park picnic area, it’s time to explore the Serengeti itself. Witness Africa’s iconic savannah landscape and be amazed by the sheer number of animals that roam these grassy plains.
Dinner and overnight in the heart of the Serengeti National Park according to the standard and the type of accommodation requested from our options.
Wake up to morning calm and an early breakfast later we head for a thrilling full day game drive at the Serengeti National Park. The endless savannas and acacia forests are home to nearly all the species of animals found in the East Africa besides the African “Big Five” – lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard, which can be seen in a few hours of game drives. With the huge concentration of the game, Serengeti is a prime wildlife-viewing territory. You will indulge in extensive games drives in the morning and evening with a break for picnic lunch before heading back to the camp
After a leisurely breakfast, you will be transferred to Ngorongoro crater for a game drive and lunch. Later in the evening, you will be driven back to Arusha and dropped off at a hotel of your choice or at the airport.
