Below is an excellent, extended adventure safari which gives you a time in beautiful Serengeti Western (Western Corridor) famous for Wildebeest Migration from May to June. You will begin our adventure on this nine-day adventure Tarangire National Park, one of the Northern Circuit’s true jewels and famous for its large herd of elephants and iconic baobab trees. Then to Lake Eyasi to visit one among indigenous tribe the Hadzabe and Datoga. Proceed to the great Serengeti National Park , the park is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and scientific value, it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. Finish with Tanzanian gem, the incomparable crater of Ngorongoro, on the lookout for a black rhino.

Upon your arrival at Arusha Airport, your Africa Joy Tours driver-guide will be waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile. Today you will have a driver who will assist you to board on your comfortable vehicle as he takes you to your hotel in Arusha- Arusha Planet Lodge - Bed and Breakfast included (BB)
Arusha Planet Lodge is One of Arusha’s most stylish properties, Planet Lodge is located in the west of Arusha, approximately one hour’s drive from Kilimanjaro International Airport. Depart at 08h30 from Kibo Palace on your 4x4 Land cruiser to Tarangire National Park. The park is a unique place and an absolutely fantastic in this time of the year. Viewing some of Tanzania’s largest populations of elephant and enjoying the diverse scenery, including the dramatic baobab trees that are so typical of the park..
Enjoy a delicious Picnic Lunches near the stretch of Tarangire River. More game drive until end of the day you drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight - Lake Burunge Tented Lodge - Full board will be serviced

After breakfast drive to Lake Eyasi . Upon arrival meet with our local guide to search for the bushmen. Our guide is very experienced and will interpret what we will get to see. You will then witness how the Hadzabe get ready for hunting for their daily meal and watch them preparing arrows using poison. Then we'll take off all together for a hunt. They will also show us around where they live - they use caves as a home. We'll see how they make fire, where they collect honey and teach us how they cure diseases preparing medicines of nature's gifts. We will have a break for lunch and rest out on the bush under the shade of a tree. In the afternoon we visit the Datoga tribe. The Datoga are mostly pastoralists and are used to biological food. They move from place to place to find good pastures for their animals. We will visit the Datoga Blacksmith. He makes jewelry as well as weapons using a local method to melt iron. We'll watch him making weapons - the Datoga use arrows, spears and knives.
Later drive to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay at Lake Eyasi Safari Lodge - Full Board
After breakfast we head towards the Serengeti National Park, through the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species.
We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park.
Evening leisure, dinner and overnight at accommodation Sound of Silence – Full Board will be serviced
“Serengeti Sound of Silence is a permanent camp that spreads around a small hill with expansive views over the plains, where it is not uncommon to see wildlife. The camp consists of one mess tent where the reception and the dining area is located, with tents spreading out on both sides following the base of the hill.”
You'll take leisurely and heavy breakfast, as we've got a big day of exploration and adventure ahead of us! .We'll begin the day with the scenic drive towards the Serengeti.
Leave your accommodation with picnic lunches and embark on a full day game drive in this savannah grassland park tracking various species of animals. Serengeti is really big and your guide will be helpful in the search for animals. The big five can be seen here and large groups of wildebeest. On June we highly expect the annual great wildebeest migration to be congregating in western Serengeti National Park. In late afternoon drive back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight Sound of Silence - Full board will be serviced .

Morning in Serengeti is an experience worth cherishing. You will wake up surrounded by enchanted sounds and smell of the wilderness staring at a magnificent breathtaking sunrise view at the endless plains of Serengeti .
Optionally you can have a sunrise game drive, searching for big Cats while hunting; they actively hunt during early morning. Return to the lodge for breakfast. You then proceed with en-route game drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro enjoying the unwinding scenery along the way. Arrival at your lodge located on the rim of Ngorongoro crater rim with great view over the crater floor. Leisure time, dinner and overnight.
The crater and surrounding highlands are one of Africa's most beautiful regions, with volcanic craters forming stunning backdrops to some of the richest grazing grounds in Africa. With 600 metre high walls and a rich volcanic floor covering 260km2, the crater is the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, a crater formed when a large volcano exploded and collapsed on itself two to three million years ago. It is estimated that the height of the original volcano ranged between 4,500 to 5,800 metres high
Dinner and Overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge – Full Board will be serviced
“Nestled high above the plains into the Crater’s jagged rim, cloaked in river stone and indigenous vines, Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge is barely visible to the naked eye. Framed by arched stone passages and timbered decks, its torch-lit walls are adorned with stylized cave paintings. At the stone heart of the lodge burns a glowing fire, which is kept constantly alight. Rooms are looped around the Crater rim. Each has its own rock-enclosed balcony, and all enjoy completely uninterrupted views of the volcanic amphitheatre far below.”

Distance: 240km from Ngorongoro exit gate in tarmac roads
At sunrise we drive down to the crater floor for wildlife game. With its abundant water, excellent grazing and natural protection from the densely vegetated crater walls, the crater provides shelter to over 25000 animals, including the endangered Black Rhinoceros. Lunch will be taken in a picnic site inside the crater.
After the thrills and excitement of the day, you will drive back to Arusha and proceed to Kilimanjaro Airport for your onward flight arrangement.
