  • It also depicts the most impressive flocks of colorful bird species along with some of the most endangered animals in the world.

  • You will never be disappointed with Tanzania’s wildlife. In fact, it will be a different aspect to watch different animal activities like predators chasing the prey, which would be very different than what you see on TV or videos.

  • The Great Wildebeest Migration is strange wildlife where you can find over two million wildebeest featuring along with zebras, gazelles, and impalas migrating across the savannas of Serengeti National Park.

  • It creates a majestic view when the cruel predators as lions, Nile crocodiles, leopards, hyenas, and cheetahs chase their feasts. This phenomenal animal movement is known as “the greatest show on Earth”.

  • Several small animal migrations are also seen during Safari Tours In Tanzania as well as many big migrations like elephant migrations in the Tarangire National Park.

  • The wildlife found is definitely a great contribution to the treasure of Tanzania which makes it the ultimate safari.

Safari In National Park:

Tanzania is a vast area to explore. It is divided into two major circuits that include north and south. Tanzania  hosts several safari parks.

Northern Circuit Safari:

  • Serengeti National Park:Serengeti National Park is certified as a UNESCO heritage site which one of the most visited and most enjoyed safari parks in the world. It is like a host to the glorious Wildebeest Migration.

  • Ngorongoro Conservation Area: It is otherwise popularly called "The Wildlife Eden" but almost all safari-goers identify it as the Ngorongoro Crater. It is the largest inactive volcanic caldera along with a large population of wild animals.

  • Tarangire National Park: Tarangire National Park holds the largest elephant population in Africa. This national park is a paradise for colorful bird watchers.

  • Lake Manyara National Park: This is a scenic Park with lots of pink flamingos filled the lake. The enthusiast photographers get the most advantage of the natural scenery of this lake.

  • Kilimanjaro National Park: Mount Kilimanjaro is one of the world's seven summits and also the highest free-standing mountain in the world. It is a dream for all the trekkers to reach the highest Uhuru peak on Kilimanjaro.

Southern Circuit Safari:

  • Selous Game Reserve: Selous is the oldest park among all the other parks in It is also recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and possesses a vast ecosystem of Tanzania.

  • Ruaha National Park: Ruaha National Park is Tanzania’s largest park that encounters almost 10% of the world’s total lion population.

  • Mikumi National Park:Mikumi national park is the most easily accessible wildlife safari park in Tanzania. It connects with another wild destination in Tanzania, the Selous Game Reserve.

  • Saadani National Park: Saadani National Park is famous for its beach facing safari experience. But if you consider other factors and accessibility, it is quite dull.

The Great Migration:

The Great Wildebeest Migration is the best attraction in Tanzania. It is best framed by the Serengeti ecosystem. This glorious movement goes on throughout the year and it has several special events that are marked as most significant:

River Crossings

  • If you are dreaming of an action-packed safari experience, then this migration will make your dream come true. The migratory hooves cross the western region around the end of May to early June and they start crossing the Grumeti River first.

  • This event provides a spectacular vision moment and then the huge flock head towards the north till they reach the immense Mara River.

  • The crossing of the Mara River projects the iconic safari event which is called “The World Cup of Wildlife”.

  • The Migratory herds intended to cross the river but they face a battle as the hungry large Nile Crocodiles are on a wait for their predation.

  • This is indeed a sight that is an once-in-a-lifetime event. So if you are traveling to Tanzania you must witness this view.

Calving Season

  • This is the season when nature welcomes the newly born wildebeests.

  • You will find approximately 8,000 baby wildebeests are born each day between January to March, which is known as the calving season.

  • The most important aspect of a journey is the accessibility to the destination.

  • Being the major attraction for the wilderness in “Wild Africa”, there are several flights through which you can connect to Tanzania from any different parts of the world.

  • Almost all international airports of the world have flying connectivity to Southern Tanzania, Julius Nyerere International Airport (DAR) in Dar es Salaam, and Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO)in Arusha, northern Tanzania.

  • There are also many domestic flights to take you from one region to another, within the cities of Tanzania.

  • There are also airstrips within the Tanzanian National parks.

Flying Safari:

  • Tanzania Flying Safari experience is the best experience in your Tanzania Safari Tours. You will experience the true wilderness in a hot air balloon above the wildlife-infested savannah of Serengeti.

  • It is an once-in-a-lifetime adventure that you must get a close and live encounter just like you watch through TV channels.

  • We most recommend this unique safari to add to your Tanzania Luxury Safari which will give an ultimate safari experience.

  • Safari Tour In Tanzaniawill give you a complete change to watch the spectacular scenery along with an unforgettable wilderness experience.

Best Time To Visit Tanzania:

  • We suggest the best time to cherish Safaris Tanzania is during the Dry season that consists of late June to October.

  • Wildlife viewing is generally at its best during this period as they are accumulated near the water source.

  • The wildebeest migration occurs in the Serengeti National Park during June and July and if you wish to see the wildebeest calving it is best to travel from late January to February.
